  1. I've been surprised by the amount of negative responses I've got in this video and I wanted to clarify some things. Firstly, the point of my reviews are to show you what the flight is really like rather than a photoshopped advertisement you'll get from the airline. I consider it my responsibility to be honest, so if the crew ignore my call bell for 15 minutes, I'm going to mention it. Secondly, I possibly came across more negatively than I intended. I actually think Jetstar are a good low cost carrier and other than the poor service on this flight and the annoying windows (more of a Boeing issue), they're pretty good. The 787 is also a pretty good aircraft. As I mentioned towards the end of the video, I was able to travel 1000kms in absolutely comfort and and safety, and for this I am certainly honoured. Having said that, I'll continue to publish how the flight actually is so if it's perceived as negative and unkind, well I guess you better only watch videos from the airline themselves.

  2. if you pay for a seat you should be able recline at anytime.
you could just ask the lady to move hands as she probably didnt realise.
i like the tint but your right should be optional.
    nice production overall though.

  3. I just flew jestar twice, Sydney to Adelaide, Adelaide to Darwin. I had a smooth experience with them. I did have a one hour flight delay from Adelaide to Darwin that could have been better communicated but overall, I felt the staff were pleasant enough to deal.

The only complaint is something not related to jetstar itself when a kid about 3-5 started bawling his eyes out for 2 hours plus on the adelaide-darwin flight. That ruined the experience in all honesty but I didn't have issues with them.

For the price paid, I find them to deliver what they offered.

The crew on the virgin Australia flight I was on from Darwin to Sydney gave me a snooty vibe.

If there is enough of a price difference and the flight isn't too long, I find jetstar is a good LCC choice.

  4. I refuse to fly Jetstar. I did a flight from Brisbane to Darwin many years ago took off that was fine got in flight I order a meal until a family with kids try to order a meal couldn't Jetstar refused to take cash only card I felt for the young family with kids Jetstar needs to bring in people paying by cash as its still legal money. If I want to pay cash is shouldn't be up to company`s saying we don`t take cash. That`s my view I`ve always like Qantas and the only Airline I fly now for some reason in flight like the Qantas coffee that`s me.

  5. Jetstar sucks! They have terrible hard seats and no entertainment or flight trackers
I hate Jetstar and it sucks we can’t afford more expensive airlines

  6. Keep the integrity and honesty Paul and you are the best in this field and many of us travel as much as you do and we agree with you but being an non.infotainment presenter gives authenticity and I look forward to seeing you in a lounge somewhere one day and greeting you.

  7. Ohhh Paul 😂 loved this video and the sneaky try to make the window work…but again to be let down and a big Lol @ flying in a Tupperware container!

  8. ‘….like British Airways and other low cost airlines.” I hope that was an intentional dig at BA. It was funny regardless. I am too late for the PJs but Jetstar Yaystar anyway.

  9. Didn't know that jetstar (Jetstar Yaystar) flew domestic 787 flights, I definitely have to try it out thanks for this video paul really enjoyed it
