A walking tour of the Old Quarter was a great way to see Hanoi, my favorite city in Vietnam. I was smack in the middle of all of the hustle and bustle-there were motor scooters everywhere and all types of shops and markets lining the streets.
WARNING: At 4:23 there is a 10 second countdown until a frog is chopped into pieces (like in biology class) in the food market.

What is the name of the street where they sell lime, chilli, ginger etc?
Incredible video! I am thinking of visiting in August
Going army 2018 – can't wait!
The problem with the Vietnamese culture is that they can shit where they eat or they can eat where they shit. No sanitation whatsoever. And they don't usually follow the rules of law, and that's why we see everything is chaotic and disorderly.
I live in HCM City and never come to HANOI because I don " t like this City….
Yes you can control the weather
At the end of the day this is the only country that defeated the Chinese, French, and the U.S.A. You can commentate and act like you are holier than thou but…..

hi, what month was this shot? 🙂
AMAZING, I ´VE BEEN THERE AND I ENJOYED VERY MUCH, BECAUSE IT WAS SO EXCITING & ADVENTUROUS FOR ME! AND NOW, WHEN I SEE IT YOUR VIDEO – SO I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO BE AT THIS OLD QUARTER AGAIN,,,,,,,,,
I like to eat Vietnamese street food but those low stools are a challenge for me being a 100-kg huge guy with knee-cap problems.
Hi Andy, how did you break the language barrier when speaking to the locals? Assuming I walk into those flee markets, is it easy to get the message across in English ??
You forgot to mention how horrible the smell of fermented fish sauce is (to most Westerners)! :p
Looks dirty n chaotic
Visiting there in a day or two, looks like colonialism, communism and capitalism all mashed together, awesome XD
Damn I want some dog meat now!
Amazing country, amazing people and amazing food, thanks for this great video, specially showing the old side of Hanoi.
Great video
People with weak stomachs are not my problem. Thats their issue. I can watch a live frog getting chopped up all day. Nothing wrong with these scenes. Im desensitized. Some of us humans crave all kinds of delicacies. This is animal meat for me. I am carnivorous. I love my protein! Frogs yum yum.
